    I spent the past 2 days painting the playroom. It used to be son's bedroom, but we moved the 2 kids together in late September in hopes it made them sleep better at night(and it has mainly worked). Yesterday I woke at 430am to get the painting done. I put all their toys and furniture into the center of the room. I had planned to get it done in one morning, but son awoke early and so I had to leave the trim work for today.  Read more >

  2. Son's new toy / best friend

    My son LOVES that little yellow sponge that lives in the sea. He watches him when ever he can and will point him out EVERYTIME he sees him. Not a problem because he is just 3 and I still monitor what he watches and does. While he loves that sponge, he does not have any toys of him. He has a coloring book and a reading book, but no stuffed toys or figurines.  Read more >

  3. Adventures in dog sitting

    My kids love animals. They really do. When they see a dog or cat they are running over to the animal and hugging and petting and showing all their affection to the animal. However they area NOT ready for one as a pet. Since we have a large fenced yard, we occasionally dog sit for hubby's friend. While his black lab is the sweetest dog, there are a few problems every time the dog comes over.  Read more >
