  4. Spiced Apple Cider Blondies

I wait on pins and needles all summer for the fall harvest of apples. I love apples in many forms and I especially love them in baked desserts like apple crumbleand apple pie.  Read more >

  5. Buffalo Chicken Burgers

In keeping with apparent themes of my blog, I decided it was time for another buffalo-style meal.  You all know that the slightest mention of buffalo-anything, my wing-loving husband is on board.  We usually have some kind of buffalo chicken meal once per week.  Luckily I like it a lot too.  Read more >

  6. Snickers Cookies

Everyone has their favorite chocolate bar.  I bet you already know where this is going.  So what is yours?  While there are many wonderful chocolate bars there is one that wins by a mile in my book.  The loved Snickers bar.  Read more >

  7. How To: Make Homemade Caramel Sauce

I have always been a caramel lover but was intimidated by making it at home for so long.  It’s fairly inexpensive to purchase at the grocery store and let’s face it: picking up a bottle is a heck of a lot less trouble. However, (did you know I was going to say that?) making caramel is fun!  I love watching the individual ingredients of this recipe turn into the rich, sweet, creamy caramel goodness that it becomes.  The process is fairly simple when you get the hang of it.  I found that the trick is this: pay attention.  Pay full attentio  Read more >

  9. White Chocolate Confetti Blondies

Most food bloggers have something that I like to call “the list.”  It’s a list of things that we hope to eventually bake or cook.  Mine is forever long and somehow it keeps growing.  It’s typed up in a spreadsheet (I’m an Excel junkie!) and it’s titled “Things to Blog.”  The list doesn’t contain extravagant desserts or meals; just things that I love and that I want to try my hand at making.  It includes doughnuts, Coq au Vin, English muffins, bagels, tiramisu and so on. Blondies are (were) also on that list.  For some reason or  Read more >

  10. Pumpkin-Walnut Oatmeal Squares

I know it’s premature but I opened a can of pumpkin.  Everyone is starting to talk about fall, cooler weather, pumpkin spice lattes, apple cider and trick-or-treats and I just couldn’t wait one more minute.  Read more >
