    This Summer, you don't have to go overboard when you're updating your wardrobe. First thing you do is go through what you have and get rid of what either doesn't fit. Also get rid of items that you've had for too long. You want to dress in this century. What you should have are some nice clothes that you can go  get matching pieces at the mall. Hey, it doesn't have to be the mall-it could be a smaller store with good quality clothing. You don't have to tell anyone where you shop. Keep your eyes open and you'll spot some great deals for the season.  Read more >

  2. working on the abs

    For someone like me, the hardest part of my body to shape up is my abs. There is no old school sit ups any more. Now there are moves that can tone all parts of the belly. The thing is, all the ab exercises in the world  won't help you with out some cardio a couple of times a week. And then you have to watch your diet carefully and cut back some on eating salty foods.I might have to cut back on drinks too. I had all my children via C-section so I'll have to settle for what I can get.  Read more >

    We all know her as one tough trainer, but she also wanted to be a mother in the worst way. Yesterday I found out that she got her wish times two! (I'm just going to talk about when she came back from Haiti) . According to People magazine, she had just got back from Haiti with her adopted daughter yesterday. It was a two year journey that finally came to an happy ending.During this time it killed her to watch her friends having babies! When a woman can't get pregnant naturally or by the use of drugs(expensive) they usually turn to adoption.  Read more >

    Mom is outside waiting for the school bus to arrive. The kids were supposed to take the bus home because she couldn't pick them up. Although they haven't been gone long, she still can't wait to see them.(the bus just pulled up)  Read more >

    I watched  the news yesterday(something I don't normally do) and I saw a story about a woman trapped in a building that was on fire. She had some trouble getting out because a window wouldn't open.Then people trying to help rescue her threw a rock that broke the window. She was able to get out (she'd suffered a few cuts)with help and was taken to safety.It got me thinking how glad I am that there are people out there who put their lives in danger to save someone on a regular basis. Sometimes I think they don't get the credit they deserve.  Read more >

    I just moved into this neighborhood. I don't know anybody here at all.I moved here because I couldn't take it anymore! He was just stomping all over my heart. Now it's so fragile that I won't put myself out there anymore.I just want to forget that part of my life and move on.I wonder if this city has a great shopping area. I mean one where you can buy clothes and food at the same time. What about movies? There's has to be a place so I can get caught up on all the latest in movies. How are the people here? I'd like to make some friends while I'm here too! I wish I knew where to look!  Read more >

    "Kids, don't forget your sunscreen!" Dad said. He then walked up to the side of the pool and splashed both of then with water. The kids react loudly about the temperature of the water. The kids wailed  "Stop, the water's cold!" Dad the replied "Aw, it's not that bad!" He then hands them the sunscreen.The kids hop out the pool,slather themselves from head to toe, and waited for their father's approval. When they get it, they hop right back in. A game of catch starts in the pool-and Dad could see the children yelling and trying to get the ball.  Read more >

  8. A Guilty Pleasure-Nutella

    I found out about about this item at the local grocery store.At first,I didn't pay any attention to it because it costs so much and it seemed too healthy. Then I tried the spread (Nutella) for the first time and it was amazing! I don't know if it comes in different flavors,but I can imagine that they would still taste good! I bought a small snack sized container of it and was in heaven eating it with the dipping sticks. This one had a milk chocolate taste to it.Move over peanut butter, there's a new spread in town! I hear we can bake with this stuff.  Read more >
