  2. Calories: Please Don't Talk About Them When You're Seven

I've written before about how we tend to keep our kidlets a little sheltered.  They are five and seven and there's plenty of time for growing up. J. has been finding random videos of the girls when they were littler and they are so sweet and tiny, so precious and innocent, that they make me cry every time I watch them. He thinks it's weird that they make me cry, but they do. Almost to the point where it hurts to watch them.  Read more >

  6. 300: A Bunch of Actors No One Knows Hacking Each Other Up with Swords

[img_assist|fid=3337|thumb=1|alt=a300] Tonight, the hubs and I went to see 300, the movie adaptation of the graphic novel by Frank Miller (Sin City). 9. Music and Lyrics: Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant Make Beautiful Music Together

[img_assist|fid=3071|thumb=1|alt=adrewbarrymore|caption=drew barrymore hugh grant] Right off the bat let me say that I am an unapologetic Hugh Grant fan. Ditto for Drew Barrymore. So when I first read that the "King and Queen of the Romantic Comedy" were going to be in a movie together, I knew I'd see it. Even if, on paper, it didn't seem like they'd have any chemistry together. Isn't he too old? Isn't she too young? What could funky, quirky Drew have in common with droll, interminably uncomfortable Hugh? Turns out lots.  Read more >

But was your favorite actor, actress, or film overlooked? Now is your chance to share your thoughts in the comments below.  Read more >
