  4. Dear Tim Gunn, Does It REALLY Matter What Size Her Dress Is?

celebrity, dress size, fashion, health, kirstie alley, Tim Gunn, weight loss

Dear Mr. Gunn,May I call you Tim?  You can call me Audrey.   I figure the less formal we are, the better chance I have of being able to convince you that there is a real person underneath the additional 200lbs I'm carrying, and worry less about what double-digit dress size I am.  Read more >

  5. A Jane Austen Education Left Me Clueless

When I first opened my copy of A Jane Austen Education by William Deresiewicz, I was eager to settle in and delve into how the words of one of my favorite author's helped change the life of Deresiewicz. What I didn't expect to happen was to have so much trouble actually "settling in" with this book.  Read more >

About Me:

Audrey Holden, a writer, photographer, and former Clear Channel air-talent and voice-over artist, is mother to four beautiful children; 22-year-old twins, Matt and Meg, 19-year-old-Zack, and 6-year-old Gaby.  Audrey is married to her life-long British pen-pal, Gareth, and happy human pawn to two cats, Gracie and Geronimo... who desire to take over the world.

Audrey's writing has been featured in the nationally circulated Woman's Day magazine, has also appeared in Story Bleed Magazine, the Houston Chronicle's "Good Mom/Bad Mom", and she was recently chosen as of BlogHer's "Voice of the Week."

Barking Mad also highlights some of Audrey's stunning photography of the Maine coastline, where she and her family formerly made their home (and hope to return to someday soon), as well as several points of interest around Europe, including the UK where Audrey's husband is from. Having recently relocated to upstate NY, Audrey is now familiarizing her camera with several of the many lovely vistas outside their front doorstep!
