  1. I'm Okay, She's Terrific: Beth Lisick's Helping Me Help Myself

I just finished reading the best book, a book that had me snarfing milk out my nose as I read it at the breakfast table. I know, it's rude to read at the table, but so be it. Beth Lisick lays her cards right on the table in the introduction of Helping Me Help Myself: One Skeptic, Ten Self-Help Gurus, and a Year on the Brink of the Comfort Zone. She writes:  Read more >

  2. Great Posture for a Fat Chick: A Wii Fit Review

I've had my Nintendo Wii Fit game for almost a week now, and let me just start by saying, according to Wii Fit, I've got amazing posture for a fat chick. Having never been there nor done that, I can't say addiction/recovery novels are up there in the top tier of favorite genres for me.  Read more >

  5. Women Who Rock! The Songs and the Inspirations

I posted this on my blog yesterday because I so struck about the power women have had in music over the years, both as the creator and as the muse. I read two fabulous articles within the space of a week that addressed this concept, and knew I had to comment. Here's the original post:  Read more >

  6. Kids' Music Rocks! An Interview with Justin Roberts

What's a music lover to do when tickets for live shows of your favorite artists start at $25 a seat (and that's for the cheap ones)?  Read more >
