About to turn 58 years old, divorced. Laid off my job in August 2007 and decided for the first time in my life, to pursue what I want to do! After freelance writing for over 20 years to "supplement" my income, I am now the sole proprietor of my own writing service. It's been a bumpy ride, but I'm finally beginning to see results, and more importantly, I'm loving what I'm doing. I no longer dread getting up in the morning to face another day in corporate America. I sold my Harley to get this business off the ground and I'm not out of the woods yet. But...the goal is to make enough money to replace my bike by the time I reach 60...and it'll be a bigger bike!
