Here in Silicon Valley, people talk a lot about innovation. Web 2.0, now Web 3.0, mobile technology, cleantech - there’s always something new and groundbreaking coming over the horizon. But innovation isn't just about technology development. Read more >
I can hardly believe that it is once again time for me to write the BlogHer Conference Guide! One of the biggest topics of conversation before any BlogHer event is, "What should I wear?" or, "What should I pack?" We always include a packing list in our Conference Guide - and this year's Guide will be no different - but here is my favorite piece of advice on what you should bring to BlogHer '11 in San Diego: Read more >

Born and raised in Newport Beach, CA, I’ve spent the last several years working my way up the California coast. My first stop was in Santa Barbara, where I received my degree from UCSB in Cultural Anthropology and Art History, specializing in Meso-American and Andean cultures (which has served me no use in my professional life, but makes me an excellent museum companion), taking a brief hiatus to study abroad in Italy my junior year. After college I moved to San Francisco, where I live in a tiny studio apartment, on top of a hill, with my very weird, but very lovable dog Molly.
Some important things to know about me: I can be a bit socially awkward sometimes, I love to cook and think almost everything tastes better with cheese, I have an irrational hatred for the band Coldplay, California oak trees make me swoon, and I generally suffer from an intense case of wanderlust. I don’t get to travel as much as I’d like to, but my goal is to hit every continent by the time I’m thirty and I dream of living abroad again someday.
You can find me here on BlogHer, on Twitter @ErinRoseGroh, or on my personal blog, I carried a watermelon? (but I hardly ever write there, so you're better off with the first 2).
