    Too Bad I Threw Out My Bong I am lamenting the loss of my bong. I haven't thought about my bong in years but after this past gun-shot laden anxiety filled week, I wish she were here. I wonder where she is now, Miss Bong-ette, my Bong-ita, that special Bong-ini. What is she doing? Is she in a landfill? Is she happy? Does she miss me? I miss her.     I love Wonder Woman Back in the 1970's I loved watching Lynda Carter transform from Diana Prince into Wonder Woman. I also remember having a crush on Lyle Waggoner who played Major Steve Trevor. He was the King of Hot to me. Hawt - as in, I want to "drop it like it's hot" (that one is for you Chelsea and Tasha). Handsome men in military uniforms make me swoon. Christa Scalies, Founder of Giggle OnYo. How U doin’? My name is Christa Scalies (ryhmes with police), Chief Inspiration Officer & Founder of Giggle On. I love encouraging people (including myself) to stress less and laugh more.

Giggle On!® is a call to action to embrace joyful mojo and laugh with wild abandon regardless of how many lemons, deaths, diseases and disappointments life throws your way.

This site began as a way for me to share my personal story of depression, grief and transformation after my friend Jim Thompson’s suicide. Some label me as a “survivor of suicide” and in many ways, I am…but I prefer to call myself a thriver.

Since starting the site in the spring of 2008, I lost another friend to suicide, Jim Sims. Jim Sims introduced me to the  phrase, Get Your Giggle On, which simply means: Laugh & have fun!

My mantra for living life is: Don’t Give Up! Giggle On! This is a part anti-suicide/perseverance message mixed with my laughter message. On bad days, this mantra motivates me to stay positive.
