    John McCain has issued a statement asking "that the first presidential debate be postponed and he will suspend his campaign so he can focus on the economy." To which I say, fantastic! This is a real world scenario.  This is the primary equivalent of McCain being elected to office, kicking the bucket, and Sarah Palin having to step up to the plate.  Read more >

    The answer may surprise you. According to the latest article by Jeremy Siegal (Russell E. Palmer Professor of Finance at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania), the stock markets initially rise after the news of a Republican president being elected.  But the years during a Democratic Presidency have historically shown better returns for investors.  Read more >

    First, McCain's campaign has said that Palin won't speak to the Press: Watch video here She is also the only one of the four absent from the Sunday A.M. political show line up this weekend.
