In a world that seems to be a bit topsy-turvy these days, I'm simply a mom trying my best to raise two wonderful children with solid values and a respect for themselves and the world around them.  I want them to have an appreciation for living an honest, healthy, well-balanced and joy-filled life – sometimes with what feels like against all odds.  I enjoy the hunt for great-tasting and nutritious "real" food -- none of that industrialized, food-like stuff and have a deep connection to family and meaningful friendships.
