Mel Edwards has a master's degree in storytelling and focuses upon sharing stories and information that will aide people who are setting out to live "their truth." Votre Vray is her website and blog name.

She can be follwed on Twitter @shoutkissmyart Why "Shout: Kiss My Art"? Because she interviewed 75 women artists and other creatives about following their passion. One interviewee said that she wished she had a shirt that said, "Kiss My A**" to wear around now that she is a successful artist and had grown up being told to give it up and forget about horses (her main subject). Mel took those stories along with her own process in breaking away from being a public school teacher and has turned them into a one-woman show called, you guessed it, "Shout: Kiss My Art." The show earned a grant from the Metropolitan Arts Council in 2008 and will become the subject of a book in 2009.

 BlogHer '09 will be her first BlogHer conference, thanks to a generous donation by Dawn from Alex at Two.
