Creator of Haute Cowgirl, Danielle Hayes has dreamed of building an empire for classy cowgirls since she was little. Danielle grew up in Montana. Her mom was a horse trainer and she has been on a horse since she could walk. Danielle graduated college from Denver University, with a degree in business, worked as a free lance stylist for several fashion photographers in CO and WA. She launched Cowgirl Chic, her first blog,  in October of 2006, after feeling the need for a fashion site geared towards those in the western lifestyle. Danielle’s ultimate goal is to turn Haute Cowgirl into the western version of InStyle and possibly host a fashion show on CMT.
