    Currently I am hosted for free at Blogger, but I am wondering what additional controls I would have if I was hosted by a paid site.   I am also not sure if I could have more control over blocking visitors (from a particular country) while still allowing certain viewers to read my blog on special permissions.  Does anyone have any ideas?   Thank you, Julia  Read more >

    I am currently in a beautiful place, courtesy of my fiancé’sparents.  They own a summer home in the vacation town of Marmaris, Turkey. It is lovely.  They actually just bought a bigger home here so thatmy fiancé and I could have more privacy.  They are lovely people. Really.  And very thoughtful.  Read more >

I am an East Coaster, born and educated there.  I am an ex-pat in Tutkey, where I have been living for the last three years.  I am on a leave of absence and am back in the US for six months, first to take care of my terminally ill father, and now to help my mother adjust and run their business.  Instead of teaching (my trade) I am doing sale--it is good I am used to talking.
