    Woot! Woot!
    Hmm you know...I don't know if my library has an adult summer reading program. I should look that up.
     @sassymonkey  Ours just started the adult program 2 years ago. They've even put it online like the kids program. yay! There is even a weekly prize drawing and a Grand Prize drawing at the end.
    Yay
    That's awesome!  Wish my library had an adult program!
  • : I can't sign into my online library account! ACK! Password reset not working! Says acct nbr is invalid! Panic! Run around madly waiving arms
    Eeekkks! Stop! Take a Breath! And then call the library help desk :)
     @victorias_view  I already sent an email and will be stopping by after work. I can't live without online access much less my library card!
     @texasebeth I know the feeling :)
  • : I am soooo not in the mood to work today. A gazillion things I would rather be doing & need to do instead.
  • : Charlie informed me that Wed is officially Mac 'n Cheese night. Apparently we always have Mac 'n Cheese for dinner on Wed nights. Who knew?
    Charlie has stumbled upon a very good way for making things happen!  Mac 'n Cheese is darn tasty stuff.  Now I'm thinking about it!
     @FatCat  The funny thing is I checked last week's menu and we did have Mac 'n Cheese last Wednesday. We also had ham steaks and green beans for dinner.
    From the mouths of babes, Elizabeth, from the mouths of babes :)
    I think that is excellent! I'm declaring next Wednesday Mac n' Cheese night in our household!
    Wacky Mac Wednesday for the win!
  • : I woke up with a crick in my neck.
    rub rub rub
    Ugh... feel better!!  Grab the heating pad and take a nap!  : )
     @beckeyp  I put some Icy Hot on it earlier and now am using a heated rice bag. No nap in the near future though.
  • : Why do I always forget to take the tomato sauce out of the freezer when I decide in advance to make spaghetti for dinner?
    I do that a lot. I just plop it in a pot and put a lid on it. Takes a few minutes longer to heat up but it's not that bad. (Though I suppose you probably have a microwave and could defrost it, unlike us. lol)
    I do it all of the time :)
     @sassymonkey  I do have a microwave but rarely use it. I totally didn't even think about defrosting it in there!. sheesh. I swear if my head wasn't already attached I'd lose it.
     @victorias_view  I opened a jar of Ragu. :)
     @texasebeth Good thinking ;)
    I do it too. I leave it for a half hour in a bowl filled with room-temp water (not hot) to thaw.
  • : I'm pooped. I worked all 7 lunches at Charlie's school. The PTO covered all lunch duties today for Teacher Appreciation. It was interesting
    Go Super Mom! How do you do it? I want your secrets!
  • : I swear the dog can hear food fall off the plate onto the floor from the other end of the house.
    The fake cat can hear us take cheese out of the fridge. We call it her spidey-sense.
    My dog will be outside and she can hear me open the fridge. She makes a mad dash into the house.
    Ours too!  It's like there's a bunch of X-Men dogs and cats out there and ours all seem to have similar skills.
    I thought it was only my dog ... Being greedy and always hungry :-)
  • : The last 2 weeks have been Monday all week long. So far this week is shaping up the same way. *sigh*
    Two weeks of Mondays is not fun at all.
    I hope things start looking up!
  • : Nap is over. Time to get back to getting things done around the house.
    Saturday naps are the best!
    Any day naps are the best!!!!
