I am a wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother & friend.  I am also a politically active, crafty, artsy individual who reads voraciously and has strong opinions.  I believe in the power of family, of detailed attention, of life-long education, and of determined perserverence.  I love art and music and craft and careful patience in the pursuit of excellence. 

 I am living busily, remembering fondly the days when I was bored as a child.  I am blogging to share with my distant family some of the stories and updates of our life, and in the process have learned that our stories are occasionally of interest to many.

I am still working, still loving life, still crafting, creating, and playing with my family and pets, still busy after all these years.
