Mother of two. Recently moved from the South to the Dirty South. Career switcher, based on my 'I don't do cubicles' philosophy: hence, professional writer turned high school tutor turned hair salon hag turned blogger...soon to be licensed salon hag -slash- blogger. Yoga enthusiast, because regular exercise is boring and too butch for me, which makes me realize I should really try Jazzercise. Music obsessor. Songwriter of goofy tunes for an audience of two. Kitchen dancer. Heavy reader. TV watcher (Community, Parks and Recreation, Arrested Development, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, 30 Rock, Dexter, Mad Men). Positive thinker. Loyal friend. Unwelcome advice giver, as in, "have you ever considered doing yoga/writing a movie/moving across country?" or "you should totally try vitamin B for that eye twitch/chop your hair off into a pixie/write a blog!" Moved to Atlanta last summer missing all daycare opportunities for my son, as people here literally camp out to get their kid into a pre-K program.
