Valcalepio Blogger Tasting! Vinitaly 2014

Today, as you can see in the title, I'm going to tell you about the # ValcalepioBloggerTasting to which I had the pleasure of being invited. Extrasensory experience truly unique.
I and other bloggers Alessia, Elisa e Tatiana , we were welcomed in the green stand of theConsorzio and we began our tasting in the diverse food and wine from italian Bergamo Area.
We started with the dish created by the Chef Flavio Mazzilli, owner of the restaurant Locanda della Corte Alzano Lombardo: golden circle Blutunt. A stuffed ravioli topped with the cheese that the Chamber of Commerce of Bergamo has helped to enhance. (I'm sorry but was too good to photograph...)
The combination with this dish was a Spumante Brut by Cantina Bonaldi.
Yes, ours was a guided tour through the flavors of the food and the aromas of wines made in Valcalepio.
Our "tasting" went on with the amazing cheeses by Caseificio Taddei from Fornovo S.Giovanni, first the orobica cake that was explained to us and Grazia Mercalli delegated ONAF discovered to us the secret of tasting, and then the award-winning Taleggio Dop all accompanied by a fantastic "incrocio Manzoni" by Tordela Company. Was really amazing!
Everything went with the delicious meatballs with "loanghina de la bergamasca" and Branzi, by the Chef Diego Pavesi, by Albergo Ristorante della Torres from Trescore Balneario (here before immersing myself I remembered to take a pic... but does not understand the goodness)
To accompany this goodness a red wine Valcalepio reserve of 2009... as I love red wine I really found it amazing!
The "tasting" went on and we passed to our last cheese, the Blutunt (erborinato bergamasco)... accompanied by a "standing ovation" passito wine, the Valcalepio Moscato Passito di Torre De' Roveri.
And finally Angela Cuni President by Consorzio Moscato di Scanzo with passito wine and chocolate.
What about the ValcalepioBloggerTasting was a unique experience and attention to details, made me appreciate and know above tastes, and new products for me.
