Vegan is the New Viagra

Veggies are hot….limp noodles are not!

Turn on the TV set and within minutes you’re bound to see a commercial for any one of the numerous pharmceutical drugs being marketed for erectile dysfunction. The sheer number of those ads is an indication that a LOT of men in this country are having a problem getting it up.

The problem is that these medications treat the symptom, not the cause.

Why so many problems with your little friend?  Busy lives, lack of interest, stress? Possible, but not likely. The real issue is circulation (or lack thereof). One of the first indicators of circulatory problems (caused by high blood pressure, diabetes, vascular disease, etc) is impotence. Some people attribute it to a natural process of aging. No way! There’s no reason you shouldn’t be able to maintain a rockin’ sex life as you age!

The issue here is treating the cause rather than the symptom.

Let me break it down really simply for you.

Animal protein causes inflammation throughout your body and damages the delicate endothelial lining of your arteries. This damage leads to vascular disease. Smaller vessels are restricted first and blood flow is limited. Guess what is extrememly vascular – filled with tiny blood vessels? yep, you guessed it! If you limit blood flow, then arousal is stunted.

And ladies – this applies to your lady parts as well!

The good news – it doesn’t have to be this way. There are very simple changes that you can make that will prevent and reverse vascular disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and a host of other illnesses/diseases.

Eating a plant based diet is your best defense. Lets talk testosterone – the stuff manly men are made of. Meat eaters have 13% lower testosterone levels than their vegan counterparts. And eating dairy products actually increases estrogen levels. Don’t let your manhood just wither away by grabbing another artery-clogging bacon double cheeseburger! Reach for a delicious, healthy salad instead. Real men eat plants!

Research has proven that vascular disease and type 2 diabetes can be reversed by eating a plant based diet. By adopting a plant based diet, you can undo years of damage. It’s never to late. Base you diet around whole foods – vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, legumes, beans and whole grains. Eliminate animal protein, processed foods, oils and other “junk” – you won’t believe how great you’ll feel. You will probably even lose a few pounds. Feel better, look better and perform better? Sounds like a winning combo to me.
