Vegetarian Grilling: Spicy Black Bean Patties with Cilantro, Guacamole, and Tomatoes

I'm someone who has a hard time passing up a cookbook sale, whether it's online, in a store, or even at a yard sale. That's why I have a whole wall of cookbooks in my office! I can spend hours looking at cookbooks, and recently I was flipping through a book I'd gotten at a yard sale and I spotted a recipe idea that I adapted into these Spicy Black Bean Patties with Cilantro, Guacamole, and Tomatoes. I loved everything about this dish, especially the way the black beans are combined with chopped cilantro, garlic, hot sauce, chile powder, and cumin, so they're extra flavorful even without the topping. Add the chopped tomatoes and guacamole on top, and this is an amazing Meatless Monday dish!
