..to see, touch, smell vintage fashion
So many of us buy online these days, it’s so easy and even cheap to have things shipped right to your door and all in the comfort of your own home. I do this myself alot and heck my own shop is based online so I am feeding into the online buying mania myself but when buying vintage there is nothing better then seeing pieces in person. Touching, smelling, taking in the true age of each and every bit of the item that you simply miss when looking at a picture on your screen.
With this in mind I thought I’d research some of the Vintage fashion fair’s around the world in the coming months. Here’s what I found…
Judy’s Affordable Vintage Fair
Website? Judy’s Affordable Vintage Fair
Where? this fair actually moves around the country and travels to 23 different cities throughout the UK! Pretty darn impressive!
Date(s)? a variety of dates (at the different locations) between 7th May and 26th June. Check out the website to find out when it’ll be in your local area.
What’s so special about this fair? well if you aren’t impressed by the shear amount of venues at which it appears then you should be impressed by the array of vintage fashion that’ll be available.
Here’s a quote from the website to tantalise your curiousity:
”Judy’s Affordable Vintage Fair offers a selection of vintage, re-worked and hand made stalls all hand-picked by fashion experts and price checked to ensure shoppers are paying up to 75% less than high street prices for their vintage.”

What’s so special about this fair? At this fair you buy by the kilo. For each kilo of clothing you want to buy you simply pay 15 Pounds. Couldn’t be simpler!

Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair

What’s so special about this fair? This is not only a fair where you can fulfill your vintage fashion fantasties but you can go that step further by stepping into their very own ‘Vintage Salon’!!! I want a piece of that action! The fair also features a very handy alterations booth should you find something that isn’t quite to your fit but you can’t bare to leave behind.
From the website:
”Wearable vintage and designer pieces to recycle and revamp in modern times. A treasure trove to draw inspiration from and that perfect little something to wow the crowds.”
