If you have Vista, then you have experience Microsoft shutting down your computer in the middle of whatever you are doing to "fix" a problem. They did that two day ago and the "fix" made it impossible for me to send out email.

Here's the FIX for the "fix".

pop.socal.rr.com should be pop-server

smpt.socal.rr.com should be smpt-server.

Microsoft stripped out the "-server" from the account settings.
