Walls that Make an Impact: Wall Paneling

Our interior walls create and define a space; they are the building blocks to a home. Adding small details to our walls can be a great way to make an impact to a space. You can do this by simply painting them with a unique color or pattern or by adding trim and molding. There are so many ways to create ways to , and today I'm going to focus on wall paneling.
There are several ways to incorporate wall paneling into your space. There can be vertical paneling, horizontal paneling, or think outside the box and create your own pattern. So many decisions to make regarding wall paneling for each space, such as:
- Finish: paint, stain, faux finish
- Molding selection: Ornate or simple
- Material: wood, tile, plaster, stone, glass, metal
- Overall design: traditional, contemporary, ornate, simple
Also, you can use a combination of materials, for example, create panels with wallpaper or fabric inset in each panel. Or you could add tile inside the panels as well. All of these decisions will have an impact on your room, and can make your space really stand out from the rest. Here are some great examples of ways to panel your walls.
