So my husband has started substitute teaching this past week. It's great to see him back getting up and about in the mornings and have some place to go. However, he is stuck in the in-between as far as wardrobe. This morning he wore to school dress pants and a underarmour overshirt (really honey) was he jogging somewear? He is struggling with the casual nature of the classroom versus the very formal world of the law firm (his former ground) I understand the struggle, but the hybrids for right now are very funny. I expect to see sneakers and a suit at any minute.
After nearly 6 years, I finally decided that I would rather wear dress pants than jeans and no longer want to have a job that asks me to wear jeans to work, but the flexiability some days would be nice.
On a unrelated note, I am NOT used to having him downstairs and doing things in the morning while I am getting ready and making my breakfast. I realized that even when he was at a a firm he was never downstairs at the same time as me, so for the first time in nearly 5 years I have to share the morning kitchen/breakfast time with my husband - talk about growing pains. The dog and I had our routine down, and now we don't know which way is up.
