Wear Easter Colors all Spring
By abbeypost on April 14, 2014
Ever since we were little girls we've always looked forward to spring. We would watch perched from our windows for the subtle melt of snow, and listen for the birds to begin to sing. While we enjoyed the pleasure of watching life crack through frozen ground, and spending time outdoors; we were really just biding our time until it was time to buy our Easter dresses.
It was our favorite ritual – right up until the day it stopped being easy to find a dress that would fit – then it became our worst chore. All of those years of self-adjusting, altering, adding shirts or layers to account for the fact that our clothes didn't actually fit – gave us terrible shopping fatigue. Going into a fitting room began to make us feel like crawling into a hole.
Seriously, it was depressing...
BUT AbbeyPost's great line of Made to Measure dresses has woken us from our fashion coma. EVERY dress fits, because it is custom made just for YOU.
The amazing thing about a great modern basic is that you can take it from casual to glam with just a little bit of accessorizing. So whether your family celebrates with a simple brunch or a more festive affair, your AbbeyPost dress will be the chic-est choice. Better yet, each of of our AbbeyPost dresses will look and feel just as great come summertime, as opposed to a trendier frock that will just end up living in your closet until next year (or falling apart!).
Now, with AbbeyPost, you can wear Easter colors all spring!
Find some of our favorite springtime colors below, and see even more at – AbbeyPost.com, where Made to Measure wardrobe classics can be yours in a variety of colors (15 in all!).
Emerald, grass, kelly, green – whatever her name this vibrant color is charming. Pantone dubbed "Emerald" the Color of the Year in 2013, but it's fresh and vivacious spirit let the trend live on. No shade represents spring, renewal or good fortune, as well – wear it knowing that your future is as brilliant as the color.
Aqua is the new "mint." The gentle twang of blue-green is on trend this season. Pair with pink for a sporty look, or with shades of blue for a more refined monochrome style. Either way this elegant shade will make you nostalgic for Easter eggs or for days on the shore.
This blushing red is the new orange (and we all know that orange is the new black!). Wear with easy neutrals, or for a peppy Easter look try white accents. This color will complement pinkish to darker skin tones, and will keep fresh through summer.
This rich blue looks great on just about everyone. A deep blue with the faintest hint of a cool purple tone, the classic color looks regal however you wear it. Play off of the color in your accessories, for an elegant Easter style.
