A Week in Review - April 3, 2009

BlogHer Original Post

Happy Friday - the weekend is here and it's been another great week!

In the event you do not get the weekly conference newsletter I am going to post some of the same information I wrote about on Wednesday.  To get on our list click here and sign up.

I have been receiving emails from BlogHer bloggers about the conference and have called out just a few questions and answers -

My name is on the BlogHer '09 waitlist - what are the next steps?
We here at BlogHer have been contacted by individuals who find they cannot attend the event.  At that time we go straight to the waitlist and pair folks up; as of today we have matched quite a few attendees.

However, we are not always told about a ticket for sale, so you may want to post your ticket needs on the ticket swap forum page on BlogHer.  But, don't stop there: You might want to track #BlogHer09 references via Twitter Search - connections are made there too!

If you have recently added your name to the waitlist you should know you are fairly deep on the list - you may want to try the other options above!

If I buy a ticket to BlogHer Business will that grant me access to BlogHer '09?
Unfortunately, no, it will not. These are two separate events that require separate registration.  With that being said, please do check the BlogHer Business site and make sure you don't miss out on a great opportunity.

If I wait until closer to the event will there still be rooms a the Sheraton Chicago?
As it stands right now we do have a limited amount of rooms available at the Sheraton Chicago like anything (BlogHer tickets) they will sell out.  To be very candid, we recommend you act sooner than later.

We also have sponsored bloggers who are attending BlogHer '09 and because there are common questions we have created some frequently asked questions (FAQ's) to assist you with your sponsorship.

Room of Your Own and Geek Lab - time is running out to vote on customized content for BlogHer '09 - take a moment and select the sessions that interest you!

I also want to take a moment to call out and thank the various committee's who help make everything at the event possible.

As always - I am here to answer any questions you may have. I hope you have an enjoyable Friday and relaxing weekend.
