One thing that makes writing about food so fun is that the imagination of good cooks is limitless, so interesting and new food ideas keep popping up every year. That's certainly true with ideas for using leftover turkey, and although I've been spotlighting recipes using Thanksgiving leftovers for BlogHer readers since 2007, there are still unique turkey recipe ideas this year that you probably haven't thought of. In no particular order, here are 10 new ideas for leftover turkey from Thanksgiving 2010. Of course, if you really have a lot of leftover turkey, check out the ideas from previous years as well.

Yum, turkey and guac sound wonderful and I'd love them with cranberry sauce in addition!

Great line-up of leftovers, Kalyn. Your quesadillas are going to be enjoyed at our house this weekend. I can't resist anything with guacamole!

I love pie crust with savory recipes, and turkey pot pie is one of my favorites from childhood. Before I started eating the South Beach way I used to make what I called "Turkey Pot Pie Soup" with turkey stock, onions, celery, carrots, potatoes, and peas; all the ingredients for pot pie just turned into soup. (This was way before food blogging; haven't made it for years but I *am* making turkey stock right this minute!)

I think it's my favorite turkey leftover. My mother makes awesome mini-turkey pot pies. Of course in true Mom-fashion she does not have a recipe for it. She throws in this and that until it looks/tastes right. I know what she puts in it but it's a guessing game for how much. (And then she gets upset that I do the same thing with lasagna and can't give her a recipe. I cite payback.)
