JC Penny Gift Card

If chosen I would spend the $300.00 on the rest of the things I need to get off of my Christmas List. I have a few more items to buy for both of my parents and my inlaws. For all of them I would purchase a few items of clothes and maybe some jewerly for the ladies. I would also like to get some cute clothes for my 7 month old little boy. He is growing so fast and he really needs some cute holiday outfits to wear throughout the next few months. And if I had any more money left over I would get my wonderful husband a few items of clothing. It would be so nive to win this gift card and I could spend it so wisely if chosen.

JC Penny Wish List

If I were given $300 to spend at JC Penny, I would buy my husband a camcorder so he could record memories of our first child due in February.  Neither of our families live close by, so being able to share our daughter via video would be a gift for our entire family!

JC Penny Gift card

I would buy the dounut machine for my father.  He loves a warm dounut and being able to make them everyday would remind him of the memories he has had about having dounuts in all the different areas we have lived in.

JCPenney Gift Card

My husband and I have been married for a little over 5 years but, to be truthful, the majority of that time was not happy or blissful up until the beginning of 2008. After a separation of two months, we realized we truly loved each other but things HAD TO CHANGE. So we set out to fix our marriage and I am happy to report that we now have the healthy relationship we'd been seeking for years.

Some of those years we spent were rather lean and my now 9-year-old daughter did not always receive everything she was hoping for from Santa. Should I win the $300 gift certificate to JCPenney, I would make sure she had the Christmas of a lifetime. She is the light of our lives and we have realized she suffered more than either of us ever let ourselves realize before we finally decided to grow up.

it's cold outside!

If I were given $300 to spend at JCPenny I would buy two things for myself (hat and gloves) and spend the rest on USEFUL Christmas presents.

One thing I would buy is a set of linens for a friend of mine, who is a stay at home mom.

GC

If chosen to win the $300 JCP gift card I would spend it on a few things.  First, I am hosting Christmas this year so a few new Christmas decorations are in order.  Second, I would buy both my sons a few stocking stuffers and kids digital cameras.  Third, I would buy some new toys to donate to the toys for tots we do every year.

If I won ...

If I won, first I would buy my son the Rothschild Colorblock Parka in his favorite color - red. And then I would pick up snow pants, boots, gloves and a hat to go with it. Then I would find a good winter getup for my one-year-old daughter.

Any leftover money would go toward a new comforter set for my husband and I. When my son was born, he bought me a pink bedroom set. THree and a half years later, we need an update, but that is closer to priority z than priority a.

If I was chosen as a winner....

I would buy lots of Phillies merchandise for my sons.  All three are huge Phillies fans, and are just bowled over since they won the World Series.  They would be thrilled to receive some Phillies gear!

gifts for my boyfriend

I'd buy some dress pants and shirts and ties for my boyfriend. Maybe some fun clothes too! He hardly ever buys new clothes but he looks all nice and spiffy when he does

JCPenney

If chosen for the gift card I would use it to outfit my entire family in new pj's and robes.  Then I would get the photo thing so I could have all our photos in it.  This year has been really difficult financially.  Due to the economy, I lost my job.  I've always gotten new pj's and robes for my kids and grandbaby at Christmas and this year I can't.  But I am blessed with having them here.

I could use a Sofa to sit the folks this
christmas....

I got everyone a decent gift and haven't gotten a gift for myself..the mother hen here putting myself last... I would love to win the gift card to offset the cost of this nice sofa in red twill..

Happy Holidays!

JC Penny Gift Card

If I won the gift card, I would buy my husband a reading chair.  We are graduate students and we can't afford to buy comfy furniture; we have a couch that's not too bad that I sit on to read all day, and he generously takes the old rocking chair we got from a thrift store.  It would be so great to surprise him with a new place to sit back and do his reading...and save his back in the process!

JC Penny wish list

If I were to win the gift certificate for $300 I would buy my daughter a cross necklace.  Her 3rd daughter was still born a year ago and it has been a rough year for her.  I found a cross with a heart on it and thought it would be something she could wear that would keep her close to baby Lia.  With any extra money, I would by my two grand daughters their first necklaces.

What Would I Buy at JCP?

My baby turns 2 on Dec. 6 so we have a birthday and Christmas to celebrate. We want to turn his nursery into a big kid room, so I'd probably buy the Sports Star bedding and accessories for him as a birthday gift to begin that transition.

Dawn writes, thinks, and dreams about sleeping in. You can read her mind at belleoftheblog.blogspot.com.

What I Would Buy If I Won

I would buy my husband some wrinkle free long sleeve cotton shirts and a new black belt.  I would buy my dad a bathrobe and my mom and grandparents a nice warm SJB Active Fleece.  I would buy my sister some Xersion workout clothes.  Then I would hit up the jewelry department for gifts for my mother in law and sister in law.

The time of giving!

In my family- we have 2 birthdays right before Christmas(one 4 days before), and one birthday the week after. So it is always money pinching and good planning on our part for the Holidays! So, if I were to win the gift card~I would get my husband some long sleeve button up shirts & a pair of  jeans for the winter. I would get my nephew the soccer set for outdoor play as well as some clothes for school. And I would get my neice some clothes for pre-school as well, along with the Bella Beau Pet City Stroller Set! With money left over I can also get any last minute gifts for Christmas!

Every day & every gift matters

I am a mom of 3, 2 boys & 1 girl. My youngest son (2 yrs)  & my daughter (the baby at 1 yr old) suffer from severe eczema & allergies. Their allergies are very high and sensitive to peanuts, dogs, peas, rice, milk, eggs and wheat (we carry epi pens, just in case!). They are also allergic to different pollutants, like cedar and weeds. Because they are eczematic & allergic to so many things, they don't get to leave the house much. We have a relative that babysits the kids at our house while we work. So, we are constantly struggling to keep them busy at the house 24/7. I would LOVE to accept this JC Penney card and buy them many toys to help keep them busy. In browsing the site I found many educational toys that would be very entertaining! Such as the Vsmile V Motion learning system, the baby learn to sign, and the learning fun laptop...just to name a few! Thanks for your consideration.

If I won...

I would buy new clothes and shoes for my husband, fun decorations for my son's big boy room, a digital picture frame for my dad, earrings for my mom, some cute jewelry for our sisters and maybe a pair of boots for myself.  I would have such a great time shopping for our friends and family with this gift card!

Those who are less fortunate....

I would buy as much as I possibly could for the boys and girls who were in my 3rd grade class at Dewey  Elementary last year!  These children are in need of clothing: socks, shoes, coats, hats, and so much more! They made a huge impact on our life and I'd love to pay it forward by giving each of them a piece of clothing for Christmas!  I would also like to buy my twin baby boys the Live Elmo, they've been through so much in there short life time (6mths)....this new lively toy would bring so much joy into their little world :) You can read more about our life at www.my3aggies.blogspot.com

What I would get for my family

This would come in very handy since I am a stay at home mom now to two boys well under 2 years old. I would buy a DVD player for them for the car because we like to go visit and they get bored easily in the car. I would buy some of the cute pajamas I saw online for them as well. For my husband I would buy an electronic gadget of some sort. I would use what was left or winter clothes for the boys. Thanks for the opportunity to try and win this!

I would buy my boyfriend an

I would buy my boyfriend an HDTV!

If I Were The Lucky Recipient of $300...

I've already completed most of my Christmas shopping and I am proud to say that 2of my gifts were $50 JCPenney Gift cards.  So if I were to win I would help out a friend and her family who are really struggling this year financially.  Her husband recently lost his job and they are parents of 11 month old twins.  I would probably get the twins some more clothes b/c they are growing so fast and some toys for their upcoming 1st bday!  Also, I would get the dad some nice dress shirts for when he gets another job and the mom/friend I would get a new outfit and some jewelry.  They are wonderful friends and parents and I would love more than anything to help them out this Christmas.

Are the twins boys or girls? I might have some boy stuff to pass along.

If I won the shopping spree

If I won the shopping spree I would by my son some new Husky Levi jeans, and Husky Arizona jeans!  He's growing like a bad weed, and needs new clothes! THis is a bit difficult right now, because mu husband has been laid off for three months.  I  know there are people a lot worse off than us, but it would sure be a lifesaver.

For others...

I would spend the $300 gift card on two things:

1. Way fun baby stuff for the upcoming arrival of my twins in February

AND

2. Because I will be a busy mom of newborn twins, I will start shopping for family members and friends' gifts that I can give throughout the year...like for Mother's Day, Father's Day, family member's birthdays, etc.

Shopping Spree for Christmas...

I would totally get ALL my Christmas shopping done this year if I had this gift card. I'm getting married in May and all my money is being saved for that very reason. This card would help out tremendously. With the economy being what it is... this is perfect!

Birthdays, birthdays

It seems EVERYONE I know has a December Birthday (including me) so I'd spend the gift card on crossing some of those off my list.

If you don't have anything nice to say, come sit by me

If I Won the $300 Gift Card

First,   I would buy new shoes for my twins to take to school for the schools Angel Tree.  Second, my husbands work always collects new coats for the needy, so I would buy that.  Third, our church always collects gifts for the kids at the Wesley Home - so I would want to get a gift for that.

AFter those things, I would definitely spend the money on my twins who were born on New Years Day  and my singleton whose birthday is also in January.   It is always difficult financially at Christmas and immediately in January with the 3 birthdays.

Finally, I my husband wears an unusually long inseam length of jeans given his waist size, and I always order him new one through the JC Penney catalog department.  They are always able to get me just the right size jeans for my husband to wear to work.

A Special Gift!

I found out over 2 months ago that my dream had come true! I was pregnant with our first child! My very close friend and I always talked about wanting to be pregnant together and what a miricle..she found out a few weeks later that she was pregnant as well!! Sadly, I lost our baby at 8 weeks just a few weeks ago, and from that day on my friend and I have grown distant.  I know that I was a little consumed with all that was going on for a week or so, but I have not seen her since the day I scheduled my surgery almost 4 weeks ago! I am not sure if it is because she feels bad or that maybe I did something wrong. Either way, if I won this gift card I would hold on to it for a few more months for her to find out the sex of her baby so that I can buy her a special gift to show her that I still dearly lover her.  I have found so many things that I would love to buy and JCPenny and I tend to be leaning towards all the girl stuff but we will just have to wait and see :)

What Would I Buy?

Probably clothes.  Lots of clothes!  This would be absolutely perfect as everyone really needs some new clothes right now.

Did you know kiddos keep growing even when you tell them to stop?

Well they do!

My three year old son would love nothing more than the work zone rug for his bedroom! We have hardwood floors, and the poor kid doesn't have a rug. Not in this year's budget so he scampers across the cold floor every morning. He loves all things construction and knows the trucks better than I do. Here's the rug he'd love. http://www3.jcpenney.com/jcp/X6.aspx?DeptID=42249&CatID=42668&GrpTyp=PRD&ItemID=14e7a2c&attrtype=&attrvalue=&CMID=42249|42447|42651&Fltr=&Srt=&QL=F&IND=34&CmCatId=42249|42447|42651|42668

If I won, I would buy my husband the T-Fal deep fryer or Cooks meat slicer (on sale for only $40!) he has been eyeing up. He has been very supportive during a difficult time for me and my family and he deserves a treat!

check out my recipe blog, Coconut & Lime, my cooking review/tips site Food Maven.

If I won...

I would buy a Video Game rocker for my son...a fairy toy box for my two girls...and clothes for the whole family!!  I might even sneak in a nice wallet for my hubby and an extension for my KitchenAid standmixer!!

What I'd love from JC P!

For me: Wall Ledges shelves! all 3 sizes. Probably in Oak color.  I need them for my scrapbooking room. Possibly a new pair of shoes: I like the A.n.a Alana double strap flat!

For my husband: A new pair of jeans (he only has one pair!) (Levis Silvertabs)  and some dress pants (brand?  Work socks and maybe some new shoes (He can pick!).

For my daughter: spring/summer clothes; a  Bonnie Jean toddler dress (black & white), and some new litte black dress shoes -  Rachel Lee Melanie

For my mother-in-law: New towels! for both her bathrooms!

For my family: a hall rug - Wexford Washable Rectangel Rug in Pesto or Deep Sand color & a new crockpot (Cooks 7qt Stainless Steel Slow Cooker)!

I think that list right there would about deplete my gift card!

Thanks for letting me play!

I would try to take care of

I would try to take care of all my in-law gifts and my dad's gift. I think it would be so easy to buy everything at JCP. One stop shopping.

Honestly...

I would probably go on a wardrobe shopping spree! After having a kid and losing some weight, none of my clothes fit right, or really look professional. I would love to start with the classic Worthington v-neck cashmere sweater! In either Anchor Blue or Real Red.

JCP Giveaway Would Save My Christmas!

Due to some very unfortunate circumstances, I have absolutely no income this Christmas and I would use the JCPenney card to buy my family a few gifts just to let them know I care. My daughter: I'd buy her an outfit or two. My son: some clothes and then the Interactive 3D Human Body. That would be so cool. For my parents and my oldest sister, I'd like to get them each a little something to show how much I appreciated all they did for me while I was in the hospital the last month. They really went above and beyond the call of duty in ensuring I wasn't alone.

baby preperation

If I was chosen to win the $300 gift card to JCPenney I would spend it on things for my baby's room. I am pregnant right now with our fist and there are so many things he will need for his room. JcPenney is full of so many things for his nursery that I would love to have for the room. I would like to get some of the accessories and furniture along with some baby clothes. I would also like to invest in a video camera to capture all of his firsts. My husband and I are very excited for his arrival in early 2009 and this giftcard would help us to get ready for him. Thanks for this awesome opportunity!

A Winner?

If I won, I would spend the $300 on my three girls.  I have a two year old and a six month old who grow out of their clothes and shoes soooo fast and seem to always need a whole new waredrobe constantly.  My third girl is a teenager, and she wants a new guitar, since her current one is second hand and old and warping.

Help for my Niece!!

My sister-in-law recently had a mental breakdown and she has a 2 year old daughter.  I would get the precious gem playset and dolls for her daughter so the little girl could have a merry Christmas.  I would also buy Vera Wang Pricess for my sister in law so she could feel good about herself and get better!!!

Giving to my Family

I would buy gifts for my husband....the last 2 years he's given up gifts just so we could buy for the kids.  He works hard and deserves and needs clothes, and really wants some new tools.  I would also try to finish our bedding in the Master and buy the kids christmas presents and presents for the Angel tree at church.

I adopted-a-child for

I adopted-a-child for Christmas this year -- an 8 month old baby boy.  He is in dire need of some winter clothes and a stroller.  I can't afford to get him much on my own but I would love to be able to get him a nice stroller and a bunch of clothes.  JCPenney would be the perfect place to shop for his gifts.

What I would get from JCP

Let's see so much to think about what to get!  I would definitely buy for my husband, he could use some new shirts & dress pants!  And of course the kids could always use some more clothes!  I would finish up my other shopping like some shirts for my Dad, maybe new towels for my Mom, some tools for my father in law, & some angel figures for my mother in law!  And if I had any left over, I would love to be able to buy some extra presents for the Angel Tree at church!!!

all my husband wants for christmas....

I would buy my husbands gift with the gift card.  Our tassimso just broke and I would buy my husband the keuring coffeemaker.  I like that we can use the pods or use our own coffee.

Keurig Coffeemaker

I Can Barely Afford Christmas

Try to keep up.

My parents are divored and both have remarried.  I also have in-laws.  I have one brother, one sister, and one brother-in-law (plus wife and baby).  I have two step-sisters (each plus husband and baby), and 4 step-brothers (all plus wives, one plus baby).  I have to buy gifts for everyone on my team at work, and I have a gift exchange between my friends.  Plus, each of my students gets a book for the holidays.  I could desperately use a $300 gift card to give some decent gifts this year!

I heart JCP

Ever since I was a little girl, I can remember shopping at JC Penney. That old-school commercial from the nineties with the bride and groom at the end, always made me teary eyed. Now, as a mom, I love their bargains for our family.

I bought my one year old little girl a Christmas dress from JCP back in October for $20! It was 50% off and I was tickled pink.

Now she REALLY needs longer pants for the winter and a heavy coat. The girl seems to be sprouting up like a weed. I'd also like to get something lacy and racy to wear for Hubster for Christmas. I love the lingerie section at JCP.

So we could really use that gift card this year. Who knows? Maybe, I'll even have enough left over to get something just for me. (Fingers crossed!)

If I won the $300 I would do

If I won the $300 I would do some serious shopping for my husband and little girl.  My husband definitely needs some new work clothes and a new pair of shoes!  I would buy my little girl the New Balance 502 Toddler shoes because she has worn out her other pair and she doesn't have any shoes to wear!!!  I could definitely buy for my whole family and give wonderful gifts!

$300.00 WOOHOO

If I were to win the $300.00 I would go on a shopping spree!!!!  Our baby girl turns one on Thanksgiving Day, so her birthday is really close to Christmas and and extra gift card would be awesome!!!  I would start out buying some clothes for my husband though!  He could really use a new pair of jeans, he only has one pair that he can fit into!  =)  So, I would get him some jeans and some nice shirts and some shoes!  Maybe even throw in some aggie gear just b/c Suz and Joe always look so cute with there aggie gear!  Then, I would get some stuff for our baby girl of course...she could use her very first baby doll!  she loves playing with her stuffed animals, but has not got a baby doll yet!  so, that would be on the list!  Then, I would buy her a new winter coat and hat...maybe some cute winter boots!  Of course, some warm footy p.j.'s like Suz picked out for Savannah would be on there!  Then, I would buy some things for my family,  a new purse for my mom, some cooking supplies for my dad, maybe a new jacket also!  Some ear rings and  jewelry for my sister!  Then, some clothes for my little brother!  Then, if and only if I had any left over I would have to get some cute new shoes for my self and maybe a new jacket also!!!  Thank you for the opportunity to win the extra $300.00, i would be Greatly appreciated!!!!!

JC Penney Gift Card

If I won the gift card, I would  spend it on my family's Christmas gifts and some new clothes for my husband. He needs new work clothes but has sacrificed his spending money for our twin 4 year olds so they can have a good Christmas.  The girls are always outgrowing our wearing out their clothes so I would also buy some school clothes for them as well.   Thanks so much for the opportunity!

Gift Card

If I won the gift card I would actually start out by buying some new supplies (blankets, sleepers, onesies, socks, etc for the Neonatal Intensive Care unit at the local hospital that my son spent the first 5 months of his life at.  Then I would buy my husband some new socks and work pants.  If I had any left after that, I would purchase a few pairs of "snuggle" pajamas (ones with feet) for my 3 year old son.  Thank you so much for this opportunity.  It's GREAT!
