we're so thrilled + grateful to gm + blogher for sponsoring our carpool team with an eco-friendly 2008 hybrid malibu! a top 10 car of the year! we're "greening" blogher!

we're leaving from sunnyvale, palo alto, + redwood city. traveling @40 miles to san francisco each way, each day (except kim will stay at the hotel). we're invited to 6 parties thursday, the night before blogher, so we're coordinating take-off times for thursday. so exciting!
we'll also be shuttling other mom's between silicon valley + the san francisco blogher convention friday, saturday + sunday. i'm so excited to meet everyone or at least be a wallflower.
hp is also sponsoring us with an awesome touchscreen laptop to document our ride with video, pictures, live blog posts, emails, twitters, + brightkite trip tracking!!!
this is very exciting + surreal for me, because when i first heard about blogher in 2006, it was nearby in san jose, but i was bald + weak from breast cancer treatment (i asked Mom 101 to sneak me in), but i had to read the blog posts from home. then for blogger 2007 in chicago, people asked me if i was going + i wanted to be there, but i was recovering from heart failure caused by chemotherapy. now in 2008, my heart is recovering well, i'm in remission + i'm finally getting to go to my 1st blogher in a gm sponsored hybrid carpool with mom blogger pals, an hp laptop to liveblog! i'm so excited to attend the seminars, see demonstrations, + meet mom bloggers i admire + representatiaves from wonderful products + services that sponsor mom bloggers!
