Next Sunday, the 47th annual Super Bowl football game will be telecast live from New Orleans. The San Francisco 49ers will face off against the Baltimore Ravens, as millions of Americans watch, cheer, and nosh on buffalo wings and bean dip. Will you be one of them? This week we want to know what you're planning for Super Bowl Sunday.
Many BlogHer folks live in the Bay Area, so there is a lot of excitement over having San Francisco in the big game. There is also an intriguing human interest angle this year, featuring the biggest sibling rivalry story ever. Two brothers are coaching the opposing teams with John Harbaugh (Ravens) vying for victory against younger brother Jim Harbaugh (49ers). Their mom has already weighed in saying she hopes there's a tie!
We want to know whether you'll be watching and why you watch. Is it the game? The commercials? Or maybe the halftime show (Beyonce will perform this year!)? Some people can't be enticed to the Super Bowl for any reason; that's why Animal Planet created the Puppy Bowl show nine years ago. If seeing supersized humans chase a ball around the field isn't your cup of tea, maybe you'll appreciate adorable little rescue dogs instead.
Let us know about your plans for the big day!
