My BlogHer is a tool that allows you to follow the content created by BlogHers you find most interesting.

When you click "My BlogHer" you'll be taken to a page that shows the most recent blog posts, list a blog entries, list a book entries, chatter entries and forum posts created on BlogHer. You can sort the page by content type (e.g. only the most recent forum posts or see only the most recent blog posts). If you're logged in, you can view the most recent content of people you "follow" or just your own content.

To follow someone, just click on a username (anywhere on BlogHer) to view her profile. Click the "Following" button and select the types of content you wish to follow. The most recent content from people you're following will appear on your BlogHer Profile and on your My BlogHer page.

While you're looking at the "Following" menu, you might also choose to add this person as a "Friend".

If you add someone as a "Friend" that person will receive an email notifying her of your friend request. If she accepts you, she'll appear on your Friends page and you'll appear on her Friends page. If she doesn't accept your request, she won't appear on your Friends page. (For now, that's all "Friending" does on BlogHer.com, but stay tuned because we're going to be rolling out more social networking tools and expanding these and Friending will become more important.)
