Sooo....
I have a blog, yes? I love that blog. And I love blogspot. I know that Wordpress is the big thing right now, but I'm quite content at blogspot. It is very user friendly. And for someone who still wakes up three times a night to comfort a screaming child, easy is good.
But I've been poking around BlogHer and writing little fluffy posts. To be honest? I'm not agonizing over them or spending tons and tons of time on them. I do that at my blog. And my hubby's burgeoning jealousy of my computer has made my proofreading skillz (I did that one on purpose) somewhat lax over here at BlogHer.
Besides, no one's reading my nonsense over here, right? There are way too many GOOD bloggers here for someone to notice my fart in the wind posts.
Wrong. I just noticed today that some of my posts have comments. Not tons. But some. Ok, fine, two of them had one comment each.
But still. People had read them. And said things about them. And maybe most importantly?
THEY SAW MY TYPOS!! They saw my laziness....they saw my practice drafts....they might think I'm a terrible, amateur with the mentality of a teenager. I feel like they've seen me without my make-up on. I shouldn't be surprised because, duh, I posted that stuff publicly. I just never thought people on this site would care what I had to say. Because, as I've previously stated, there are GOOD writers here.
So, just saying, I've taken note. Perhaps (read: almost definitely) I will start to proofread here. But not today.
Back to work!
