Why is the President always in such a hurry? Why did the stimulus package have to be passed immediately, right now, before anyone could read the bill? Didn't the President promise transparency? Didn't he promise that he would wait to sign bills? WHAT IS THE HURRY?
Why was there such a push to get the healthcare bill passed before the August recess - especially when the bill isn't scheduled to go into effect until 2013? Why would a bill, especially one that is so long and complicated be rushed through? Could it be that the drafters of the bill, the supporters of the bill don't want it read and understood?
Then the next question that should be asked is if there is such a hurry to pass healthcare reform, why is it not taking effect until 2013? Could it be that the powers that are pushing it don't want the public to understand the ramifications until after the President is possibly reelected in 2012?
Now there is a push to confirm Cass Sunstein. Why? What is it that the President doesn't want known about Cass Sunstein? Heaven knows there is plenty of things that Mr. Sunstein has said that I don't agree with, at all! Again, where is the transparency? Why should anything be passed or anyone confirmed without proper vetting? What is the rush? Bottom line - what is being hidden?
