[Editor's Note: Grandmas are awesome. Just ask any kid. I hope to have the same view that Lisa at Grandma's Briefs shares in a recent post. Not only is she old enough to be a Grandma, but she's put in the hard work of living life to get to this point. It's a bit humorous, a bit real and a bit of must-read for all ages.]

Grandma's BriefsI often come across women who eschew being called "Grandma." As they put it, they're "not old enough to be a grandma," the distaste heavy on their lips, on their words as they offer the disclaimer accompanying the label.

Well, I am old enough to be a grandma, and it doesn't bother me one bit.

Enjoyed reading your post. I feel pretty much the same way about getting older. Friends also tell me having grandchildren is fabulous ---only I don't have any yet.
