When Did You Ditch The Stroller?
by MdMommy2Two

During a discussion with an online friend of mine, she mentioned that she gave her stroller away because she never used it. She lives in a neighborhood with no sidewalks and they have a large yard. They live far enough away from the stores they frequent that they have to drive, so her two kids ride in the carts or walk. And during their infrequent trips to the mall, she always ended up forgetting the stroller and renting one from the mall.

In direct contrast, we have FOUR strollers. We have the single that came with the travel system from when my son was a baby. We have a single jogger that I bought at a consignment shop a few months before I became pregnant with baby number two. We have a double jogger and we have a small umbrella stroller that we got because my mom requested it for the days when she babysits.

I think city dwellers tend to cling to the stroller a little longer than folks in the 'burbs. At least, my family does because we walk everywhere.
