WHEN IT IS TIME TO STOP WASTING TIME ON UNGRATEFUL PEOPLE?......"PULLING IN THE RUG...."

WHEN TO STOP…..When To “PULL IN THE RUG….”
I simply think sometimes in life we can overdo things…..Especially for ungrateful people……There are simply people out there we need to quit doing for in my opinion……Lack of gratitude is one of the key reasons for my pulling back from people who I normally would do for….
Lack of gratitude often comes when we give constantly to a situation without expecting much in return outside of respect and perhaps an occasional” thank you”…..When we don’t get either of those things I truly think in many if not most cases it is time to “pull in the rug….”
I see so many women out in the dating world just waiting for a particular guy to be nicer to them. To adore them….to do something special for them. The women have done so much so long for the guy that he no longer respects what she is giving and can almost look at it as bothersome…..When this happens I clearly feel it is time to pull in the rug ….pull all the giving in till appreciation is restored…
Early on, I was taught to be nice….even to unnice people…..So even with people I didn’t really like I always smiled and was gracious….I am not sure why I was taught this but I guess good children were supposed to always be nice……I simply have learned that should not always be the case…..I am truly nice….I love being nice…and being Nice is a way of life for me…..but I simply won’t waste my time on people who are not “worthy"…..especially people who are ungrateful….Not all people should we give our time to in our lives….Not all people deserve our time…..Wisdom comes with knowing who is who in our lives and the degree of time and energy given to them…
There are times that we simply need to stop giving our time and energy to some people….Some people simply are not worthy of our time and investment….That is a personal decison we have to determine for ourselves….who is who….Sometimes all it takes is a little less giving to get a lot of notice.
