Holiday blessings come in strange disguises. My children spent the Thanksgiving holiday with their dad and I admit I was a little sad. But not now! Now I feel great relief and pride! For the first time ever I am ahead of the holiday decorating curve!
I used this weekend to hang holiday lights outside and decorated inside the house for Christmas. I'm ready to start the holiday season and it's only December 1st. When the kids come back today they'll be thrilled to see the decorations. We moms put the magic into the holidays in stolen moments. Our alone times are so precious, - and SO PRODUCTIVE, especially for catching up on sleep. Happy holidays!
