When Ship Happens

I am a girl who fell in love with cruising.  I am addicted... plain and simple.  This blog is my therapy :)

I love to laugh and I like to tell it like it is ... which often gets me described as "sassy".  Something eventful always seems to happen to us.  Our stories always keep our friends and family in stitches... I figured I would start writing them down.

In my “real” life, I am a small town Texas girl. I married my highschool sweetheart, Mark, and we've been blessed with a truly awesome son named Trenton.  My day job is a full-time respiratory therapist at a local hospital and teamleader over our Level 3 NICU.  I love Insanity and Combat workouts, Shakeology and nutrition … so I decided to become a Beachbody coach too. My busy life takes up a lot of time and energy throughout the year.

The first time I saw the ocean, a magical calm came over me -- and it has been calling my name ever since. I can’t break that spell. Going to the ocean is my escape. I am by no means an expert, but researching cruises and information when I am on land fuels my passion and allows me to keep sane until my next cruise rolls around.
