Which of the U.S. National Parks Have You Visited?

Have you ever visited any of the of over 400 national parks that are part of the United States National Park Service? It's one of the best ways to get a first-hand view of this beautiful country in all its variation and wonder. I've watched alligators slither through the river of grass from an air boat on the Florida Everglades. I've seen the sun rise over the dormant volcano Haleakala on Maui. I've held the railing very tightly and peeked over the edge into the abyss of the Grand Canyon in Arizona. The national parks are amazing, gorgeous, and (unlike big amusement parks) surprisingly affordable.
I thought I had seen the best of the parks, and then, a few years ago, finally made it to Yosemite. I will forever think of it as the "real" magic kingdom. It took my breath away. What are some of your favorites? Vote from the list below and tell us your favorite park story in the comments.
And if you want to know more about the national parks, a great place to start is by hunting down the PBS series The National Parks by Ken Burns.
