Who Will Win the Republican Presidential Primary?

The Repulican primary race has been a roller coaster ride for months.  Donald Trump was in the race briefly and just as quickly dropped out.  New Jersey Governor Chris Christie was never in, but teased the press for a long time before formally pulling his hat out of the ring.  Ten debates have taken place so far in 2011, and each time one of them airs, polls show the rankings for the primary race leader going up and down like a see-saw.  What does the BlogHer community think about it?  We'd like to hear from the pundits who really know the score.  Please leave a comment if you have a strong opinion about what's going on in U.S. politics today.  It doesn't matter whether you're Republican, Democrat or Independent, everybody gets to vote in the BlogHer poll!

2 elections now... with no republican contender. i won't vote in 2012 if there isn't a worthy candidate. i voted "yes we can" last election and feel like "no you didn't' to all the promises... boo on our selection of republican candidates!

Jane - Disenchantment is normal and is bigger than ever in our entitlement society. We need to use our powerful votes to get legislators elected who care and will restore faith in government instead of pimping for votes. One of the biggest violators is by your district, Ms. Pelosi. Voting for a legislator is not a popularity contest - it's serious and one should research extensively.

When I first registered to vote, years ago, I registered as a Republican, because of my father, mostly. But now, I think of myself more "Independent." But I really hate politics and politicians. Sorry!

I think people have become so disenchanted with politics in general these days. Most polls show American's faith in government officials and "Washington D.C." (no matter what their party affiliation) is at an all time low. :(

No worries, Virginia. You are in good company. Most folks want to run screaming from the topic. Speaking of votes, I'm barely getting anyone to vote on this primary poll! Next week...back to more popular topics. Like TV and holiday recipes.

I would never vote for Cain because he's always pulling his Train into the mo-le-station.
