A Whole Post About Sports this Week ...and I Barely Mention the Super Bowl

BlogHer Original Post

Let's say for just a moment that you had a chance to even think about sports this week. I know it is a stretch. I write about sports for a living (sort of) and I hardly paused to turn on ESPN this week with all of the excitement of the Inauguration Day festivities, but let's say you did perchance happen upon a sports broadcast this week. It was most likely about the Super Bowl.

I personally have no beef with the Super Bowl. Super Bowl Sunday is a holiday on par with Christmas for me, but I have noticed that between this huge event and the Obamamania you might think that there wasn't much going on in sports recently.

You would be wrong.
