Why does Wordpress think I'm a spammer?

For the past two days every time I try to leave a comment on a wordpress blog, I get thrown into the spam file. (I have a photoblog hosted at Wordpress, so I was able to test this out myself, and sure enough, there was my comment in the spam folder.)

Posting from a different IP doesn't help. Neither does changing my profile info. I only comment on a handful of blogs regularly, and can't think of a single thing I've said that would trigger the spam filter. These are blogs I've previously been accepted, by the way.

links?

I think wordpress considers any post with more than one links in it as spam.  Could that apply?

Nope. I never put links in

Nope. I never put links in comments.

Changing my profile helped, but right now I'm hesitant to comment on any wp site.

Clicked on wrong link?

Perhaps someone clicked on the "report as spam" button instead of the "reply" button in the post a comment section, and it threw a flag up on you by mistake.

I think blogher should revamp the post comment section and place the "report as spam" link in a different place. That might help....

This isn't happening to her on BlogHer

The person who asked the original question isn't asking in regards to BlogHer - BlogHer does not run on Wordpress.

As far as I know, nobody has become consistently labeled as a spammer based on the clicking of a "report as spam" link. It's rare that I find any "reported spam" comments waiting for me in the spam folder at all.

(What does get people labeled as spam is posts and comments with huge numbers of links or people who post links in comments that I've marked as spam in the past. - a certain Addiction Recovery program is one that comes quickly to mind.
