Halloween is a challenging time for people living with diabetes. If you have a sweet tooth, it may be hard to resist dipping into the candy jar. However, diabetics must be very careful of what they eat. Since Halloween is all about the sugar and sweets, you need to have a lot of will power to avoid the increase of sugar. The following list contains important information on diabetes.
1. Ingesting too much sugar could produce serious health conditions and even death.
2. Even though candy is the temptation during Halloween, there are other foods like pasta, pizza and pretzels that must be avoided These items contain refined ingredients that could affect sugar levels.
