Wii are Fit
My husband and I gave ourselves the gift of a Wii for Christmas. I really wanted the Wii Fit so that I could have fun exercising since I'm not able to go to the gym right now (the child care doesn't take babies).
So, since December 25, 2009, I have used the Wii Fit 20 times. That is obviously not every day. My weight has gone up and down about four pounds, which is a normal fluctuation for me. So I'm not counting it as having lost any weight.
BUT, I do notice that I feel better when I exercise, and so that makes me want to exercise more. I try to do my exercises while my son takes his nap. Even on the days I don't feel like it, I'm going to at least start, because once I start, I usually keep going for 30 minutes.
Today, my 30 minutes took an hour to do because my daughter kept waking up from her nap and needing attention. In fact, I'm typing this while she sits in my lap, just to keep her happy. She's cranky right now, I'm wondering if a tooth is coming in or if it is just a growth spurt.
Anyway, back to the Wii Fit. I am having a lot of fun doing the exercises and I have noticed that I am improving every time I do them. I am enjoying the yoga and the bicycling the most.
I am determined to get into shape this year, since I am done having babies (unless the Lord decides otherwise). Here are my stats:
Height: 5' 7"
Weight: 195 lbs
BMI: 31
I don't know any of my measurements, but when I find my tape measure I will post them too. I want a public log of my fitness journey, so here it is - for whoever cares.
