Women music bloggers

I'm toying with the idea of starting a music blog -- again. My first blog, the one before I knew what I was doing, was a music blog that failed grandly. But lately to kill some time and practice my writing skills I wrote a few journal entries on my Last FM (a social networking/music site) page, and realized I missed having a "niche." I like my "niche-less" wonder, but I'm itching to start another blog.

I guess what I'm asking is are there any women music bloggers out there? Most of the sites I visit are run by men. I'm sure there are, and I haven't looked long and hard enough. And I'm totally not comfortable posting MP3s -- for obvious reasons, like lawsuits. Is it possible to run a successful music blog without the swag?
