Women’s Rights under the 2nd Amendment & Politicians
By Jacqueline Lang on February 26, 2013
Daughter murdered, mother grieving. Could this be a news headline in your ‘ALL American ‘neighborhood? Mother states she didn’t have the right to protect her family with any means possible.
Could this statement ever really be made?
- Why are we debating the 2nd Amendment?
- Why aren’t talking about Social Security?
- American’s being trillions in debt?
- Deals being made with China to buy American land which may or may not result in rights to American oil.
In Oregon Democratic leadership has introduced House Bill 3200. This law I fell is an example of extreme ‘Fear’ created by the lack of knowledge and understanding of the 2nd Amendment.
All of this discussion makes me ask; Are the Democrats of Oregon ‘Playing God’ with women’s lives?
- Who really gets to decides who lives or dies?
- Who really gets to decide how a woman is allowed to protect herself and her family?
- Who really gets to decide if you are able to handle gun of any type?
Example of the content in the House Bill 3200:
Law abiding Americans will have to: “Creates crime of unlawful possession or transfer of assault weapon or large capacity magazine. Punishes by maximum penalty of 10 years’ imprisonment, $250,000 fine, or both”
While Oregon law states little girls and boys can so easily be bought without much notice Patronizing prostitution - (minor under 18) - (§ 167.007) - Class A Misdemeanor - Max. 1 year (1st offense); 7 days- 1 year (2nd offense); 30 days - 1 year (subsequent offenses) $10,000 (1st offense); $20,000 (subsequent offenses)
There are already numerous gun laws in place. How does the Oregon Democratic leadership justify creating another law?
Is it time for the Oregon leadership to get back to the basics by enforcing existing laws and creating laws that help law abiding Americans?
Sponsored by Representative GREENLICK; Representatives BAILEY, BUCKLEY, DEMBROW, FREDERICK, READ, REARDON, TOMEI, Senators BURDICK, DINGFELDER, HASS, MONNES ANDERSON, MONROE, SHIELDS, STEINER HAYWARD
Always think about the 'root cause' of something and who is in charge of creating the real change.Try to keep your emotions out evaluating the facts.
