Word Association With Thigh-High Boots

Thigh high boots.  Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. Hooker. See where this word association is going?  Apparently I am the only one because thigh-high boots are big this season. Why?  They are not practical and cannot possibly keep you warm during the winter. Are they instead of stockings?  As well as stockings?  I am a little confused as to how you would wear it.  Where would they be appropriate to wear them?  Work?  School?  A night out?  I don’t know if I would take my chances on that.  I’m afraid I’d look down half way through the night to find some guy licking my boot.  Even my beloved Louboutin is making them.

  Although, perhaps they should change the name to underoo-highs.  These seem particularly tall.  Much taller than the thigh anyways.  I dont think I would ever wear a skirt short enough to show off these boots.  Someone must be wearing them, because they keep trying to bring them back every once in a while.  I just didn’t think their target buyer was Patty the Daytime Hooker (My Name is Earl).
