Wordpress and Community/Open Blogging Ideas..

Hi there..

 

I have been asked by some awesome local bloggers to speak at a WORDPRESS CAMP about my community site...about setting up an open blog or a community blog..ironically the night before I fly out to BlogHer!

 

but I wanted to hear from other people too...about..what makes a site 'accessable' to you..why would you want to post as a contributor to another site other than your own if you ain't being paid for it.

 

What makes a  community to you

Also...I really need help with my categories....I now don't just have Canadian bloggers..I have ladies who are from Washington and CA there...I would love the categories to be more accesable to posters...

 

I have space for 8 buttons for categories in the design (if I can ever figure it out)...what do you think the categories should be...

Ugh. Just ugh.

We have a lot of categories yet we get constant requests for more or complaints about not having X... it's really hard to meet everyone's needs in a really small space.

I need to surf around your site in order to figure out what your "eight" should be. I'll try and do that today and get back to you.
