Worth A Try

I've blogged on Blogger for a few years- privately of course. I don't want the world to think that they know my life or me. Being a teacher forces me to be cautious on what is available online. My children's safety is a concern too because there are some wacky people out in cyberspace. I write about my family for only the eyes of my husband and me. If something happened to me, my children would have the blog to read. It's my journal as a mom and wife.
Also, I am a teacher so I must be careful what I share with the "world". Through the worlds of Facebook, Blogger, and Instagram I've witnessed how blogging can be life-changing through friendships, supports, and opportunities that I could not access otherwise. I love to write and read so this may be the next step.
So, here I go. I will keep my (private) family blog and create a new blog. The focus will evolve. I am not talented at fashion, interior design, crafts, cooking, or anything original. On the other hand, I love being a mom and a teacher. The balance of a fulltime teacher and mom is extremely hard. I cry more than I choose to count. There is the consistent questioning of whether I am doing enough as a mom, wife, and teacher. This blog will most likely become a sharing of thoughts, tips, and reviews.
I would love to review items geared toward moms and children of infant through school age. Please help me get connected with companies that could use my skills as an elementary teacher, mother, and wife of a firefighter. I look forward to learning!
