"Good Moms have sticky floors, dirty ovens and happy kids." ~ Anonymous
I've never been the you can't play with playdough because it's too messy or the don't mix the colors when you're painting kind of Mom.
Here's why: I still remember the day in my high school painting class when my art teacher told me I should change the sky in my piece. He said that it was too yellow and not realistic enough. I loved that painting more than any I'd ever done and you know what I told him, "Too bad." I left the sky yellow and let him give me a bad grade. I don't know where I learned that from but it's something I definitely hope to pass on to my kids.
